Willis Ray Garner
 
Funeral services for Willis Ray Garner, 65, of Mexia, will be held Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock in Porter Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the
Rev. Bill Wright, Sr. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery.

Mr. Garner, who died Sunday in Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center-Waco, was born
Nov. 6, 1938, in Navarro County, and was a self-employed house leveler.

Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at
Porter Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys Garner of Mexia; a daughter, Cihdy Garner of
Mexia; a son, Randall Garner of Mansfield; three brothers, Ben Garner of Mexia,
Henry Garner of New Caney and Frank Garner, Jr., of Forreston; six sisters -
Sandy Barker, Judy Bell and Dianne Bowman, all of Mexia, Tracy West of
Groesbeck, Billie Williams of Waxahachie and Edna Burns of Kemp; and six
grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Johnathan Garner, Jason Garner, Richard McGowan, Michael Bell,
Charlie Bowman, Bill Garner and Leslie Wayne Campbell. Designated as honorary
pallbearers are Daniel Williams, Johnnie Burns and Dale Garner.
