EUNICE M. GIBSON

  Eunice M. Gibson, 87, Raymore, formerly of Nevada, died Saturday, April 15, 
2000, at Foxwood Springs Living Center, Raymore.
  She was born Jan. 8, 1913, to James R. Brown and Mahalia Idella Haynie Brown
in Fairfield, Texas. She married Stephen D. Gibson on Sept. 11, 1933. He
preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1987.
  She and her husband lived in St. Joseph until 1939, when they moved to Nevada.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Nevada, and a 50-year member 
of the Nevada Chapter No. 53 Order of Eastern Star.
  She was also preceeded in death by an infant daughter, her parents and nine
brothers and sisters.
  She is survived by a son, James D. Gibson, Rio Vista, Calif.; a daughter,
Nancy Wagner, Chesterfield; four grandchildren; a brother, James Brown, 
Fairfield; and a sister, Cleo B. Jones, Mansfield, Texas.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Hixson-Klein Funeral
Home, Glower, Mo.  Interment will follow in Allen Cemetery, Gower.
