Fannie Sue Gilbert

Fannie Sue Gilbert, 71, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002 at
Navarro Regional Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church with
the Rev. George Proctor Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland
Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Gilbert was born June 6, 1930 in Fairfield. She had been a waitress at
Navarro Hotel, a housekeeper and a hairdresser. She was also a faithful member
of St. Andrews United Methodist Church where she united in 1950.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Merlin Gilbert; uncle, Lawrence
Jackson; cousins, Wynona Liggins, Hazel Grace Mayes, Penny Liggins and Brittney
Liggins; stepsister, Martha Ruth Jackson; step nephew, Michael Jackson; and a
host of other relatives and friends including her dog Spinner.
