Joy Miriam (Kirgan) Gleason

Funeral services will be held this Saturday for Joy Miriam Gleason, 90, of 
Dallas who died Monday, March 9.

Mrs. Gleason was born in Fairfield on Nov. 15, 1918 to Lee and Evgenia Kirgan.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. this Saturday at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral 
Home Chapel in Fairfield.

Burial will follow at Fairfield City Cemetery.

Mrs. Gleason is survived by her children, Tim and Diana Gleason of Arlington, 
Lee and Susan Gleason of Houston, Joyce and Steve Alderman of League City, 
Evgenia Gleason of Dallas; sister, Joyce Hopkins of Silsbee; four grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Felton Lancaster and Thomas James Gleason.

Arrangements were made by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Joy Gleason - Fairfield 

Joy Kirgan Gleason, 90, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at her residence in Dallas.  She 
was born on November 15, 1918 in Fairfield to Lee and Eugenia  Kirgan.  She was 
preceded in death by her two husbands - Felton Lancaster and Thomas James Gleason.
She is survived by her children - Tim and Diana Gleason of Arlington, Lee and 
Susan Gleason of Houston, Joyce and Steve Alderman of League City and Eugenia 
Gleason of Dallas; sister - Joyce Hopkins of Silsbee; 4 grandchildren and 2 great 
grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 21st from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral 
Home, Fairfield.  Memorial service is Saturday, March 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Griffin-
Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield with burial at the Fairfield City Cemetery.  Deacon 
Louis Palos will officiate.
