William Thomas "Uncle Bill"  Goodman

Bill Goodman passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Veterans Hospital in 
Temple, Texas.  He was born Sunday December 24, 1922 in Mexia to parents Little 
Leslie and Julia McAdams Goodman.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his 
wife Doris Willard Goodman, sister Lorraine Brown and Sister-in-Law Dorothy 
Goodman.

He is survived by his step son Phillip Calkins, wife Wanda, three granddaughters 
and grandsons in law Kim and Joey Lipari; Amy and Travis Teague, their two 
daughters, Madison and Cinclare; Necee and Tommy Clouatre.  He is survived by 
his step daughter Annette Hebert and husband Dyke.  All reside in Baton Rouge.  
Bill is also survived by a brother, Lee Goodman, his children Mary Leslie Brown 
and Michael Goodman and their families residing in the Houston area; Nieces 
Debbie, Merry and Frankie Brown.  He is survived by numerous other relatives 
and in laws of the Willard family.  

Bill chose cremation with final resting at the National Cemetery in Dallas.  
Memorial arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced in the 
coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VFW Post 
# 5872, Fairfield Harmony Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice.
