Mary E. Gordon
June 13, 1930 — Jan. 11, 2004

MADISONVILLE — Graveside services for Mary E. Gordon, 73, of Madisonville are
set for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Chapel Cemetery near Fairfield.

Bro. Johnny Crocker will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from
5 to 7 p.m. at J.M. Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville.

Mrs. Gordon died Sunday at her home.

She was born in Teague and worked in the Tex Sun glove factory in Mexia. She
was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sim Gordon Jr.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Barbara Allen of
Madisonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Charles Wilson of Streetman;
a sister and brother-in-law, Opal and Jack Zito of Port Sulphur, La.; three
grandchildren; a niece; and three nephews.
