Serena Gore

Funeral services were held last month for Serena Evelyn "Nell" Gore, 90, of Fairfield 
who died Wednesday, April 23.
Mrs. Gore was born in Devine on August 22, 1917. She married Leonard Dee Gore in 
1937 on April 3.
Together they had two children and were married for 66 years before Mr. Gore's death in 
2003.
Services were conducted at Rosewood Humble Chapel on April 28.
Interment followed at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble.
Mrs. Gore is survived by a son Lenard Wade Gore and his wife Elizabeth of Fairfield; 
daughter Bertha Evelyn Stewart and husband Charles of Humble; five grandchildren; 11 
great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Arrangements were made by Rosewood Funeral Home of Humble.
