Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder October 28, 2007 Ruth Goulding Funeral services were held last week for Ruth Goulding, 87, of Teague who died Tuesday, Oct. 16 in her home. Mrs. Goulding was born on June 25, 1920 and married Estes Goulding on May 11, 1940. She was a business owner operating her own beauty shop and an active member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church participating in Sunday school, ladies projects and ministries. Services were held at Eighth Avenue Baptist Church on Friday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. with Steve Cowart and Paul Gauntt officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Goulding is survived by sisters Shirley Burleson of Fairfield and Linda Kay Morris of Teague, grandchildren, Phil Morris of Austin, Kelley Tapitch of Freehold, NJ and Jason Morris of Arlington; great-grandchildren Kayle Morris, Cody Morris, Cory Morris, Kaitlyn Tapitch and Colin Tapitch; and sister-in-law Louise May of Teague. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Estes Goulding, parents, three sisters and two brothers. She married Estes Goulding on May 11, 1940 and shared sixty-three years together before being separated by his death in 2003. She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Burleson of Fairfield and Linda Kay Morris of Teague; three grandchildren, Phil Morris of Austin, Kelley Taptich of Freehold, New Jersey, and Jason Morris of Arlington; five great- grandchildren, Kayle Morris, Cody Morris, Cory Morris, Kaitlyn Taptich, and Colin Taptich; sister-in-law, Louise May of Teague; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
