Freestone County, Texas Obituaries/Death Notices The Teague Chronicle - Thursday, February 3, 1938 - Page: 5 MRS NANCY GRADY Mrs. Nancy Grady was born March 12, 1884, in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas, and died at Teague, Texas, January 27, 1938, after an illness of sixteen months. She was a daughter of Henry and Mary Glass and was the last survivor of a family of eight children. In 1860 she married R. J. Grady who later became a pioneer Methodist Protestant minister. He passed away 23 years ago. Surviving her are five children, sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Her children are Mrs. John Sloan, Corsicana; T. J. Grady, Fort Worth; Morgan Grady, Foster, Okla., George Grady, San Angelo, and Mrs. L. B. Gamewell, Teague, all of whom were in attendance at her funeral. Funeral services were held in Ham Bros, funeral parlors at 9:00 a. m. January 29, burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Corsicana, at 11:00 a. m. Services were conducted by Rev. A. G. Fitzgerald, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, Teague, assisted by Rev. J. D. Whitley, pastor of the Methodist Protestant church of Teague.
