Shirley Graham
 (May 28, 1932 - July 27, 2014) 
 
Shirley Graham, 82, longtime resident of Donie, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 
2014, at her residence. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2, 2014, 
at 1:00p.m. at First Baptist Church in Donie. Bro. Robert McDougal officiated.

She attended the First Baptist Church in Donie and retired from several years of 
service at the Mexia State School in Mexia.

She is survived by one grandson, Brian Taylor and Jennifer Cole of Fort Worth; 
one granddaughter, Brandy Taylor and husband Shane of Tatum; five great-
grandchildren, Brent Taylor, Cheyenne Taylor, Colten Roberts, Quinton Roberts, 
and Peyton Roberts; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her daughter, Lesa Kay Taylor and one 
grandson, Brent Lee Taylor.

Bowers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
