Nora E Gannon - Linden, Texas

Nora E Gannon, 78, of Linden died Saturday afternoon at a local hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas with
the Rev. Ralph Briggs officating. Burial will be in College Hill Cemetery 
south of DeKalb.

Born in Freestone County, Texas. Mrs. Gannon was the wife of the late James H 
Gannon. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include three sons, Vernon Gannon of Hughes Springs, Texas, Guy 
Gannon of Dallas, Texas and Leroy Gannon of New Boston, Texas; two daughters, 
Ruby Beard of Linden and Dorothy Powell of Vickesburg, Miss., a step son 
Theodore Gannon of Santa Paula, Calif., four step daughters, Lorene Johnston 
of Garland, Texas, Edith Spence and Zulene Obenosky both of Naples, Texas and
Helen Bass of Simms, Texas; a sister Carrie Moorman of Texarkana, Texas, 22 
grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
