Edward Grant

Edward Grant, 66, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002 at Parkland
Hospital in Dallas.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th
St., Corsicana. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Alton Goff, Edward Grant Jr., Robert Bryant, Sammy Bryant,
Wylie Grant, Benny Grant, Fred Grant, Kevin Renfro, Romanel Watson, Billy
Sheppard, George Kennedy, Uncle Edward Grant Sr. and Charles Kelly.

Mr. Grant was born Sept. 3, 1936 in Winkler.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Louis Grant.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Renfro Grant of Corsicana; daughters, Pamela
Grant Washington and husband Terry of Houston, and Pearlie Grant Baxter and
husband Jeffrey of Kerens; sons, Eric James Grant and wife Jacqueline, Jeremiah
Grant and Scottie Grant, all of Corsicana; nine grandchildren; parents, Louis
C. Grant and Pearlie Mae Grant of Corsicana; brothers, Bennie Ray Grant and
Fred Gene Grant, both of Corsicana; sisters, Gladys Blanford, Catherine
Chambers, Alice Chambers and Diann Kelly, all of Corsicana, Doris Kennedy of
Fort Worth, Mary Grant Sheppard of Dallas, and Tommie Jean Woods of
Clarksville; uncle and aunt, Edward Grant Sr. and Mary Grant of Streetman; and
a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
