Emris Merlin Gray

Funeral services were held last weekend for Emris Merlin Gray, 86, of Teague
who died Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Mr. Gray was a charter member of Uvalde Baptist Church and currently a member 
at the first Baptist Church of Teague.

He was a life endowed member and past master of C.A. Fortner Lodge #1304, A.F. 
and F.M., past master of Teague Lodge #256, A.F. and F.M. and a member of the 
Order of the Eastern Star.

Services were held in Houston at San Jacinto Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 22
at 9 a.m.

Burial was at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

Mr. Gray is survived by daughter Donna Watkins and husband David; sons Leon 
Gray and wife Connie and Leslie Gray and wife Beverly; seven granddaughters; 
seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ira Ernestine Gray; great granddaughter 
Leslie Belle Lawson; his parents; four brothers; and one sister.
