Mary Louise Gray

Funeral services were held earlier this month for Mary Louise Gray, 74, of Teague who 
died Tuesday, July 29.

Mrs. Gray was born in Teague on June 29, 1934, to Handy and Bessie Hair.
She was a member at the First Baptist Church of North Teague and attended Booker T. 
Washington high school.

Mrs. Gray lived with her husband, Floyd, in Dallas for several years before returning to 
her hometown.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, at the First Baptist Church of North 
Teague.

The services were officiated by Larry Rose and the eulogy was given by Lonnie Telton.
Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery in Teague.

Mrs. Gray is survived by her son William W. Johnson and wife Mary of Fayetteville, 
North Carolina; daughters Mary J. Polk and husband Wendell of DeSoto, Yronnice Gray 
of Teague and Felicia Gray of Fort Worth; grandchildren Toby Gray, Floyd Keith Gray, 
Lajina Jones, Edquina Jones, William Dounley, Anthony West, D'Aubrey Gray, Adrie, 
Randal West, all of Dallas, and William Gerard Johnson of Fayetteville, North Carolina; 
and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd G. Gray; parents, Handy and Bessie 
Hair; sister, Ola Faye Brown; and four brothers.

Arrangements were made by Moore's Angelic Funeral Home of Teague.
