Ana (Matei) Grecu
February 21, 1947 - December 1, 2013

Ana Grecu, 66, of Streetman, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home. 
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013 at First United Methodist 
Church of Fairfield with Pastor Daniel Melen; Pastor Aurel Covaci and Mr. Mark 
Milas officiating. Interment will follow at Birdston Cemetery under the direction 
of Capps Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 
December 7, 2013 at Capps Memorial Chapel. 

Mrs. Grecu was born February 21, 1947 in Romania; to parents Savu and Solomie 
Pisat Matei. She had been a Freestone County resident for seven years moving 
from the DFW area. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by on 
brother, Puia Matei; two sisters, Lenuta Ardelean and Letitia Matei. 

Left to cherish her memory are four children, Dori Grecu of Streetman; Steve 
Grecu and wife Danielle of Streetman; Lia Grecu and husband Michael Gonzales of 
Waxahachie; Aurel Grecu and wife Karina of Grand Prairie; one brother, Savu Matei 
of Australia; two sisters, Veta Minzat of Australia and Marioara Matei of 
Romania; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
