Dessie Gladys Green, 49, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, April 15, 2004, in
Corsicana.

Services will be noon Monday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Dairy
Johnson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Collins, Danny Kelly, Aaron Green, James Gooden and
Gerald Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Green was born June 24, 1954, in Freestone County. She was member of
Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served in the choir. She was a graduate of
Dogan High School in Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah and Ella Kelly; and two
sisters, Ida Bell Williams and Mary Bailey.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Green of Corsicana; daughter, Chandra Green
Thomas and husband Bill; stepdaughter, Nyrasha Green; adopted daughter, Lovie
Perry; five grandchildren; two brothers, James Kelly and Edward Kelly, both of
Fort Worth; sister, Betty Calhoun of Fort Worth; nieces, nephews, cousins,
other relatives and a loving extended family of in-laws; aunt, Nancy Williams
of Dallas; and uncle, Mack Rakestraw of California.
