James Robert Green

James Robert Green of Buffalo died May 23 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler at
the age of 63.
Mr. Green was born in Buffalo on February 19, 1943.
Funeral services were held May 25 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Thomas
Middlebrook officiating. Interment followed at Lummus Cemetery in Buffalo.
Mr. Green was a welder for Missouri Pacific and served on the National Guard.
He was also a member of Church of Christ.
Surviving Mr. Green are his sons Jerry and Marlon Green of Lafayette,
Louisiana; brother David Green of Baytown; sisters Minnie Pearl Reese of
Buffalo, Mary Jo Thomason and husband Jack of Palestine, Johnnie Lee of
Buffalo, Slema Langston of Katy, Marie Lane and husband Henry of Centerville,
Betty Goodin and husband Thomas of Buffalo, Ruby Lynch and husband Larry of
Buffalo and Glenda Goodner and husband Bobby of Oakwood and numerous nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton Green, Sr. and Bessie Mae
Connell Green and brothers Leslie Thomas and Clifton Green, Jr.
Nieces and nephews acted as pallbearers.
Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home of Buffalo.
