Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Bowers Funeral Home web site Ronald (Grits) Gresham (February 5, 1960 - March 3, 2012) Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Gresham were held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 11:00a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Richard Gillet officiated. Interment followed the services at Driver Cemetery near Teague. Mr. Gresham passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield. He was born in Pasadena on February 5, 1960, and grew up there. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School with the Class of 1978. Following graduation, he went to work for H. L.& P., now N.R.G., where he was presently employed as a mechanic at the mine near Jewett. Mr. Gresham served as a volunteer firefighter for several years in the Franklin and later Buffalo departments. He enjoyed working outside, spending time in the outdoors at anything especially with his yellow lab, Jake 98, and being able to help others when he could. Mr. Gresham loved to cook and was a passionate NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Gresham of Fairfield; two sons, Keith Gresham of Franklin and Aaron Gresham of Fairfield; two daughters, Mechale Miller & husband Carl of Universal City, and Filesha Moeller & husband Robert of Hearne; six grandsons, Cody Miller, Dustin Miller, Colten Miller, Trystan Norsworthy, Braylen Moeller, and Rylan Moeller; two brothers, Steven Gresham & wife Donna of Deer Park, and Randall Gresham & wife Sharon of Pasadena; one sister, Kim Bailey & husband Ronnie of Pasadena; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Gresham was preceded in death by his parents, Ray & Sophie Gresham, and his grandparents, Elmer & Faye Gresham and Lloyd (Sr.) & Leona Roper.
