Terry Griffin


Terry Griffin, 52, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 in Waco, Texas.  
A visitation was held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Capps Memorial Chapel in 
Fairfield. 

Terry was born September 18, 1963 in Marlin, TX to parents Melvin and Barbara 
Jordan Griffin.  He had been a resident of Fairfield for 4 years having moved 
from Mexia.  He was employed as a supervisor with Basic Energy Services.  Terry 
was known for his hard work ethic, his love of the Dallas Cowboys and spoiling 
his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife Kimberlee on March 30, 
2013.  

Left to cherish his memory is his children, Derek Griffin and wife Robyne of 
Plano, TX; Jeremy Griffin of Fairfield, TX; Haley Griffin Smith of Streetman, 
TX; Jason Steen of Teague, TX; one sister, Kim Sowders of Marlin; six 
grandchildren.
