J.C. Gunter

  J.C. Gunter, 92, passed away March 2, 2014 in Tyler. He was born February 3, 
1922 in Young Community in Freestone County to William Cooper and Lelar Freeman 
Gunter. He married Katie M. Middleton December 21, 1953. 
  He attended Bethel Assembly of God. He worked for Hable Construction for 40 years. 
  He is survived by wife Katie Gunter of Tyler; daughters, Jeanetta Patterson and 
husband Steve of Tyler, their children, Zachary Patterson and Sabastion Patterson; 
Lutricia Harvey and husband David of Tyler, their son Ben Harvey. Numerous nieces, 
nephews and extended family members. 
  Visitation was 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Griffin-Roughton 
Funeral Home. 
  Graveside service were held 11:00 am Friday, March 7, 2014 at Lake Chapel 
Cemetery with Harry Moore officiating.
