Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder October 13, 2007 Ethyl Leona Hale Funeral services were held last week for Ethyl Leona Hale, 92, of Dallas who died Friday, Sept. 28. Mrs. Hale, a native of Freestone county, was born Oct. 16, 1914. Services were held Friday, Oct. 5 in Capps Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with Arles Vandiver officiating. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery in Fairfield. Pallbearers were Curtis Allred, Steve Phillips, Charles Phillips and Ron Brown. Mrs. Hale is survived by nieces and nephews Bobbie Schroeder of Cypress, Sandra Smith Brown of Dallas, Wanda Ayo of Mesquite, Billy Dale Evans of Dallas, Susan Hello of Dallas, David Evans of Rowlett, Benjie Emmons, Ione Newton, Martha Jane Thompson and Rosemary Phillips, all of Fairfield; and sister-in-law Mattie B. Emmons. She is preceded in death by her parents Archielee and Lura Lillian Evans; husband Jordan Cliff Hale; sisters Leotha Evans and Lura Alice Schroeder.
