Ethyl Leona Hale

Funeral services were held last week for Ethyl Leona Hale, 92, of Dallas who
died Friday, Sept. 28.

Mrs. Hale, a native of Freestone county, was born Oct. 16, 1914.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 5 in Capps Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with 
Arles Vandiver officiating.

Burial was at Antioch Cemetery in Fairfield.

Pallbearers were Curtis Allred, Steve Phillips, Charles Phillips and Ron Brown.

Mrs. Hale is survived by nieces and nephews Bobbie Schroeder of Cypress, Sandra
Smith Brown of Dallas, Wanda Ayo of Mesquite, Billy Dale Evans of Dallas, Susan 
Hello of Dallas, David Evans of Rowlett, Benjie Emmons, Ione Newton, Martha 
Jane Thompson and Rosemary Phillips, all of Fairfield; and sister-in-law Mattie 
B. Emmons.

She is preceded in death by her parents Archielee and Lura Lillian Evans; 
husband Jordan Cliff Hale; sisters Leotha Evans and Lura Alice Schroeder.

ETHYL LEONA EVANS HALE


Funeral services for Mrs. Ethyl Leona Evans Hale, 92, of Dallas, Texas 
(formally of Fairfield, Texas) were held on Friday, October 5, 2007, at Capps 
Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.

Mr. Arles Vandiver conducted the services and interment was at Antioch Cemetery
in Fairfield.

Mrs. Hale was born on October 16, 1914, in Freestone County, Texas, to 
Archielee and Lura Lillian Evans. She passed away on Friday, September 28, 
2007.

Mrs. Hale is survived by her nieces and nephews Bobbie Schroeder of Cypress,
Sandra Smith Brown of Dallas, Wanda Ayo of Mesquite, Billy Dale Evans of 
Dallas, Susan Hello of Dallas, David Evans of Rowlett, Benjie Emmons of
Fairfield, Ione Newton of Fairfield, Martha Jane Thompson of Fairfield and
Rosemary Phillips of Fairfield, her sister-in-law Mattie B. Emmons, numerous
great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jordan Cliff Hale,
and her sisters Leotha Evans and Lura Alice Schroeder.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Hale were Charles Phillips, Curtis Allred, Steve Phillips
and Ron Brown.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
