James "Jimmy" David Hales Funeral services were held Wednesday for James "Jimmy" David Hales, 48, of Buffalo who died Sunday, Oct. 14. Mr. Hales was born in Teague on April 7, 1959 to Roy and Jimmie Hales. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of First Baptist Church. Services were held at 2 p.m. in Buffalo cemetery with Ray Grissett officiating. Burial was at Buffalo Cemetery. Mr. Hales is survived by son Andrew Hales of Buffalo, daughters Bridgett Johnson of Jewett and Terri Foreman and husband Brian of Bryan; parents Roy and Jimmie Hales of Buffalo; sister Deana Kay Wright and husband Kirk of Buffalo; and grandson Zayne Johnson of Jewett. He is preceded in death by his brother Terry Glenn Hales. Mr. Hales is survived by his son Andrew Hales of Buffalo, his daughters Bridgett Johnson of Jewett and Terri Foreman and husband Brian of Bryan, Texas, his parents Roy and Jimmie Hales of Buffalo, his sister Deana Kay Wright and husband Kirk of Buffalo and his grandson Zayne Johnson of Jewett.
