Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder July 23, 2007 Anthony D. Hall Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 18 in Mexia for Anthony D. Hall of Wortham, who died Tuesday, July 10 at Providence Hospital in Waco. Services were conducted at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Tas Betts, Jr. and Rev. Victor Adams officiating. Burial was at Wortham Cemetery. Mr. Hall is survived by his mother, Helen Ruth Walker and husband Rayford of Waco; his father, E.W. Hall of Houston; his brothers, Danny Hall and wife Charlotte of Mexia, and James Hall and wife Bridgette of Mexia; his sisters, Erma Bell and husband Larry of Waco, Janice Watters and husband Walter of Waco, Sherran Thomas and husband Wayne of Waco, and Mary Catherine Chambers and husband Lewis of Houston; his grandfather, Willie Lee Hall of Odessa; aunts Willie Mae Thomas of Mexia, Erma Johnson of Los Angeles, and Judy Chambers of Fort Worth; uncle Bobby Joe Allen of Fort Worth; great-aunt Mable Herman of Fort Worth; special friends Tootie and Jackie Craig; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Victor Adams officiated and interment followed at Wortham Cemetery. The family was served lunch at Haynes Temple COGIC Fellowship Hall in Mexia, Texas. Mr. Hall is survived by his mother Helen Ruth Walker and husband Rayford of Waco; his father E.W. Hall of Houston; his brothers Danny Hall and wife Charlotte of Mexia and James Hall and wife Bridgette of Mexia; his sisters Erma Bell and husband Larry of Waco, Janice Watters and husband Walter of Waco, Sherran Thomas and husband Wayne of Waco and Mary Catherine Chambers and husband Lewis of Houston.
