Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Teague Chronicle January 10, 2008 edition HUGH DEAN “RED” HALL Mr. Hugh Dean “Red” Hall passed away at the age of eighty-three on December 27, 2007, at his home in Teague, Texas. He was born on February 11, 1924, in Donie, Texas, to Walter and Anna Bell Hall. Mr. Hall served in World War II after enlisting in the Army Air Corps in 1942. He lived in Teague since 1998, but resided in Palestine most of his adult life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many hours on the Trinity River. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Anderson County Coon Hunters Association for many years. He is survived by his wife Margie Hall of Teague; his daughter Carmen Hall of Teague; his sons Hugh Dean Hall, Jr. and wife Darlene of Manvel, Texas and Walter Lewis Hall and wife Rachel of Guerneville, California; his sister Chlodell Booty of Hermosa Beach, California; his brothers Gaylon Hall and wife Ruth of Teague and Lane Hall and wife Marla of Teague; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Celinda Sue Hall; his brothers Lloyd Hall and Earl Ray Hall; his sister Gloria Nell Bond of Friendswood, Texas. Mr. Hall was cremated and his ashes will be buried at Post Oak Cemetery near Donie, at a later date, with family members present. Bowers Funeral Home of Teague was in charge of the arrangements.
