MARK LEE HANCOCK

Funeral services were held Monday at First Baptist Church in Teague for Mark 
Lee Hancock, 50, who died Dec. 31 at Baylor Medical Hospital in Dallas.

Interment followed at Oakes Cemetery in Teague.

Mr. Hancock was born April 11, 1960 in Mexia to Joe Dwain and Peggy Hancock.

He was a 1978 graduate of Teague high school who enjoyed the outdoors.

Everything from riding 4-wheelers, fishing, and spending time with family was
on his list of things to do.

Mr. Hancock was employed at XTO Energy as a lease operator.

He is survived by wife Pamela Oakes Hancock of Teague; sons Terry Lee, Travis 
and Trey Hancock; daughters Anna Hancock Posey and husband Jeremy and Sherry 
Hancock; his parents; brother J.D. and wife Felicia; niece Amber Hancock Black 
and husband Brandon and their children Blaine and Addie; nephews Justin 
Hancock and wife DeAndrea and Jordan Hancock; in-laws Wayland and Helen Miller 
Oakes; sister-in-laws Deborah Oakes Evans and husband Michael, Michele 
Gonzales and husband Jeff, and Melinda Black and husband Steve.

Officiating services were Darrell Beggs and Scott Matthews.

Making arrangements was Bowers Funeral Home of Teague.
