Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Teague Chronicle October 18, 2007 LEONARD CALVIN HARDISON Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Calvin Hardison, 80, of Mexia, were held on Sunday, October 14, 2007, at Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia, Texas. Rev. Jeff Wright officiated and interment followed the service at Lost Prairie Cemetery. Mr. Hardison was born on September 18, 1927, in Fairoaks to Leonard and Donie Michum Hardison and passed away on October 12, 2007, in Mexia. He was a farmer/rancher, former Limestone County Judge, worked for ASCS for many years. He worked as a real estate agent and in early years was a basketball official. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia. He is survived by his wife Billie Hardison of Mexia, his brothers Jerry Hardison, Ray Hardison and his sister Ruby Nell Hill, all of Mexia. His sister-in-law Bernice Mae Hardison of Baytown and numerous nieces and nephews also survive Mr. Hardison. Pallbearers for Mr. Hardison were Bill Rogers, Butch Hardison, Kenneth Hardison, Bob Hardison, Rick Hardison and Walter Ray Just. Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia was in charge of the arrangements.
