ROBERT MICHAEL “BOBBY” HARRIG


Memorial services for Robert Michael “Bobby” Harrig, 42, of Mexia, Texas, were
held on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Mexia. 
Rev. Marcus Sheffield officiated.

Bobby was born on March 24, 1965, in Vista, California to Robert Michael and 
Dianna Shepardson Harrig. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mexia
and a driller in the oil industry by trade.

Mr. Harrig is survived by his wife Lorie Ann Harrig of Mexia, his son Bryon 
William Harrig of Mexia, his daughter Shelby Nicole Harrig of Mexia, his
granddaughter Kaylor Marie Weis. He is also survived by his mother and step-
father, Dianna and Russell Hawkins of Mexia, his sisters and brothers Leila 
Triego, Brad Hawkins, Kimberly Harrig Wynne, Merlina Saum and Heide Harrig 
Grant all of California, his aunt Pamela Sue Hayden and husband Bill and his 
uncle Kenneth Shepardson.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Library in honor of his 
children Bryon and Shelby Harrig.

Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia was in charge of the arrangements.
