Gordon Edward Harrigan

Gordon Edward Harrigan, 73, passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000 at East Texas
Medical Center in Fairfield.

The cremation was performed by Fairway Crematory in Van.

Mr. Harrigan was born Jan. 15, 1927 in Joplin, Mo. He served in the U.S. Army
during World War II, attended Texas A&M and graduated from the University of
Houston with a bachelor of science and master's degree in engineering. He was
an engineer with Wilson Petroleum and a member of the Catholic church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Bernice Harrigan. 
Mr. Harrigan is survived by his wife, Jeanette Harrigan of Fairfield; sons,
Edward L. Harrigan and Robert G. Harrigan, both of Houston; and seven
grandchildren.
