Death Very Sudden for John B. Harris

John B. Harris, 78 years old, died suddenly in his room at 2071/2 South Third 
street Thursday afternoon at 5:30.

The body will be taken to Brandon in Compton's motor hearse, where the funeral
will take place, services to be held in the Brandon Methodist Church Friday at 
5 pm., with the pastor, Rev. Mr. Odom, officiating. He will be buried in the 
Brandon cemetery.

Born in Alabama, Mr. Harris had been a resident of Texas for abut 43 years, 
having lived in Hillsboro for 30 years before he came here 13 years ago.

Surviving Mr. Harris is three sons and two daughters, John Harris and S. L. 
Harris, Waco; Will Harris, Los Angeles; Mrs. Nannie Pierce, Waco and Mrs. Minnie 
Johnson, Wortham.
