Mrs. Carrie Harris

Funeral rites for Mrs. Carrie Harris, 83, of Streetman, who died Saturday morning 
in the Freestone Memorial Hospital at Fairfield, were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at 
the Cade Chapel. The services were conducted by Rev. H. L. McKissack, Teague 
Baptist minister, and Rev. Price Matheison, pastor of the First Baptist church 
in Streetman. Burial was in the Cade cemetery. Surviving are three sons, W. C. 
Harris, Kyle; A. R. Harris, Brownfield, and S, T. Harris, Streetman; a daughter, 
Mrs. Ruth Cherry, Streetman; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two 
brothers, I. P. Walker, Winkler, and W. D. Walker, Richland; two sisters, Mrs. 
R. E. Gregory, West, and Mrs. Lena Hemenway, Streetman, and other relatives. 
Nephews were pallbearers. Griffin directed.
