HARRIS - Corsicana, Texas. March 17. - Thomas Harris, 69, long-time resident of
Navarro County, died here Monday night. The funeral was held from the home of
his son, W. W. Harris, with whom he made his home, Tuesday afternoon, with
burial in Oakwood Cemetery, the Rev. E. T. Miller, pastor of the First Baptist
Church, officiating. Mr. Harris was a native of Freestone County but had
resided in Navarro County practically all of his life. Surviving are his wife;
three sons, W. W. Harris, R. I. Harris and R. J. Harris; a daughter, Miss
Kelley Harris; a sister, Mrs. C. E. Love, and a half-brother, W. Womack, all of
Corsicana, and twelve grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
