Charles Ray Hayes Charles Ray Hayes, 46, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at M.R. Smith Parlor for Funerals. Wake services will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dairy Johnson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park in Corsicana. Pallbearers will be Marcus Smith, Johnathan Smith, Wiley Mitchell, Craig Cunningham and Mark Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Cunningham, Ron Wright, B.J. Deeds and Louis Cunningham. Mr. Hayes was born March 18, 1953 in Buffalo. He was the owner and operator of Charlie's Bar-B-Que in Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hayes. Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, Pamela Hayes of Corsicana; daughter, Jennifer Hayes of Cedar Hill; son, Tracy Cunningham of Corsicana; grandchild, Makayla Lusk of Cedar Hill; father, Amos Hayes of Fort Worth; mother, Lucille Smith of Fairfield; brothers, Bennie Lee Hayes and Derrick Hayes, both of Fort Worth, and Jimmy Smith and John Smith, both of Fairfield; sisters, Ruby Cunningham of Fairfield, and Marilyn Hayes, Carolyn Bassett, Barbara Harris, Vajanice Hayes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
