HAYS

LESLIE "LES" WAYNE HAYS, age 53, of Fairfield, Texas, died Saturday, November 
23, 2002 in Fairfield, Texas. Mr. Hays was born June 16, 1949 in Houston, TX 
where he graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and The University of 
Houston. Hays was employed by Reliant Energy, a member of First United 
Methodist Church, Teague, TX and very involved with the youth in the community 
as well as the church. He is survied by his wife Jeanette Hays and son Stephen 
E. Hays of Fairfield, Texas; sister Dee Foster of Seabrook, Texas; mother-in-
law Minnie Harris of Pearland, TX; and sister-in-law Martha Salyer of 
Georgetown, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest D. Hays, Jr. 
and Louise Lauritsen Hays. Funeral service will be at South Park Funeral Home,
1310 N. Main, Pearland, at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26th. The family will 
receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 25, 2002. Interment 
will be at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
