Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Teague Chronicle April 3, 2008 MARY ETTA BEENE HEARN Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Etta Beene Hearn, 80, of Mexia, were held on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Mexia, Texas. Edwin Sours officiated and burial followed at Salem Cemetery in Freestone County. Mrs. Hearn was born on July 7, 1927, in Teague, Texas, to William and Lula Ann (Reynolds) Beene and passed away at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia on March 28, 2008. She was a homemaker and also a Mary Kay Cosmetics representative. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness. She is survived by her daughters Marilyn Gale Logan of Mexia, Deanne Ward of Houston and Donna Good of Mexia; her grandchildren Laurie Simmons and husband Walter, Dawn Granberry and husband James, Wendy Hileman and husband Richard, Delaina Mangum, Miranda Heller, Hillary Heller, Hailey Heller, Landry Heller and Rowdy Good, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, her sisters Carmie Sartor of Teague, May Ward of Wortham and Marilyn Finley of Hewitt and her brother William Beene of Wortham. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Headley Hearn, two grandsons and five sisters. Pallbearers for Mrs. Hearn were David Jackson, James Henry Sartor, Gilbert Oliver, Carl Heller, Bert Finely and David Sutherland.
