Helbert, Debra Jean of Thorndale & Fairfield. Age 15. Died 10/1971 (Tuesday) of
injuries received in an auto accident near Fairfield. Services held (Thursday)
at Condra Memorial Chapel in Taylor. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Revs. 
Nelson Herod and her cousin, Bradford Helbert, officiated. Condra Funeral Home
of Taylor in charge of arrangements. She was a sophomore at Fairfield High 
School where she played in the band. Member of the First Baptist Church of 
Thorndale. Before moving with her family last June (1971) she was a twirler at
Thorndale High School and a member of the band. Member of the Future 
Homemakers of America. Survivors: Parents, M/M. J.C. Helbert of Fairfield; 2 
sisters, Mrs. Charles (Cynthia) Miller of Thorndale and Miss Mary Lou Helbert 
of Fairfield; brother, Larry Helbert of Austin and nephew, John Charles Miller
