Frances Mae (Hays) Henson

Funeral services were held Monday in Buffalo for Frances Mae Henson, 82, of 
Keechi who died Friday, July 13 in Keechi.

Mrs. Henson was born August 28, 1924 in Appleby to Paul Ferguson and Catharine 
Davis Hays. She was a homemaker and a member of Stewart Memorial United 
Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the choir and
belonged to United Methodist Women and the Friendship/Age and Interest Sunday
school class.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. at Stewart Memorial United Methodist Church,
with Rev. Kevin Gilmore officiating.

Burial was at Keechi Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rondal Mullenax, Gondal 
Mullenax, Randy Mullenax, Kenneth Turner, Hue Hillis and Earl Bates, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, grandsons-in-law and great-grandsons.

Mrs. Henson is survived by her children, Annie Dennix and Margie Carr of the 
Keechi community, and Joe Bob Henson and wife Donna of Overton; a brother, 
Bill Hays and wife Billie of Keechi; sister Betty Chase of Wyoming; seven 
grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and one 
step great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews and other 
relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. "Red" Henson; and her parents.

Arrangements were made by Memorial Funeral Home in Buffalo.

FRANCES MAE HENSON


Mrs. Frances Mae Henson passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007, in Keechi, Texas.
She was 82 years old.

Mrs. Henson was born on August 28, 1924, in Appleby, Texas to Paul Ferguson and
Catharine Davis Hays. Mrs. Henson was a member of Stewart Memorial United 
Methodist Church of Buffalo, Texas. She was a Sunday school teacher, choir 
member, member of United Methodist Women, the Friendship/Age & Interest Sunday
School Class and a homemaker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Henson were held on Monday, July 16, 2007, at Stewart
Memorial United Methodist Church in Buffalo, Texas. Rev. Kevin Gilmore 
officiated and interment was at Keechi Cemetery in Keechi, Texas.

Mrs. Henson is survived by her children Anne Dennix and Margie Carr of the
Keechi Community and Joe Bob Henson and wife Donna of Overton, her brother 
Bill Hays and wife Billie of the Keechi Community, her sister Betty Case of 
Wyoming, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, five step great 
grandchildren and one step great great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews
and friends.
