"Mrs. Herron Dies At Cotton Gin

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Herron, 67, who died at Cotton Gin Sunday night
at 11 o'clock, will be held from the Cotton Gin church Tuesday afternoon at 2
o'clock.  Rev. C. E. Richter, Wortham, and Rev. V. K. Aubrey will preside at
the ceremonies.  Interment will be in the Cotton Gin cemetery.  

Mrs. Herron was the wife of Rev. V. J. Herron, Presbyterian pastor of Cotton
Gin, had been a resident of Freestone County for most of her life.  She was
born in Tehuacana but moved to Freestone county while still a young girl and
had lived there since.  

Deceased is survived by her husband; one brother, C. H. Lewis Wortham; and one
sister, Mrs. Fannie Lewis, Dallas."
