FORT WORTH FIRE CAPTAIN DIES HERE FRIDAY IN ACCIDENT

John Monroe Hester, 58, of Fort Worth, was killed in an accident at Turlington,
east of Fairfield Friday afternoon.

Highway Patrolman Allen Norcross investigated and said Hester's pickup left
the highway on a curve, hit a utility pole and rolled over twice.

Mr. Hester was captain of the Fort Worth City Fire Department, a post he had 
held for many years.

Survivors include relatives in Oakwood and Palestine.
