Services Held Dec. 24 for Dorothy Hilscher

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Hilscher were held Monday, December 24, 2007
at 2 p.m. in Blair – Stubbs Chapel. Billy Ridge officiated with interment to 
following in the Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Visitation with the family was 
from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hilscher was born February 28, 1926 in Curry, Texas to Leonard and Veola
Cleere Teer and passed away on December 22, 2007 at her residence in Mexia.

She was baptized Sept. 15, 1939. She was a home-maker and a full time minister
for Jehovah’s Witnesses for over two years..

She is survived by her son, Clifford Meredith and wife, Lindy of Groesbeck, 
Daughter, Glenda Smalley and husband, Elmer of Forney, 8 grandchildren and 14 
great grandchildren and one on the way, sister, Nita Johnson and husband, 
Jake of Mexia, Brother, Bobby Teer of Kerens and sister in law: Deloras Teer
of Temple.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, LaDayle Johnson and Freddie Teer,
sister, Margaret Rogers and three husbands, Norman Ward, Clifford Meredith, 
and George Hilscher.

Pallbearers are Marcus Turner, Mika Morgan, Tony Vilaros, Leon Talent, Patrick
Gregg And Johnny Rogers.
