  Funeral services were held Tues., April 6 for Mr. Richard R Hogan, 50, who died
April 3 in Kirvin.
  Graveside services were held at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin.
  Mr. Hogan was born Jan. 2, 1954 in Teague to Rufus and Addie Hogan. He worked
as a construction laborer and attended Kirvin Baptist Church.
  His survivors include brothers John Hogan of Spring and Paymond[?] Hogan of 
Kirvin; sisters Frances Crouch of Baytown and several nieces and nephews.
  Mr. Hogan was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Addie Hogan and 
sisters, Martha Lane and Mary Arnold.
  Arrangements were conducted by Capps Memorial Church of Fairfield.
