Sharon Renee Hogan
August 3, 1963 - August 5, 2018

Funeral services for Sharon Renee Hogan were held on Thursday, August 9, 2018, 
at 11:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Roy Prather officiated. 
Interment followed the services at Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin.

Ms. Hogan passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Fairfield Nursing & Rehab 
Center.

She was born in Fairfield on August 3, 1963. She grew up in Freestone County and 
graduated from Wortham High School with the class of 1981. Sharon lived in Ft. 
Worth for several years before returning to Freestone County where she remained. 
She enjoyed reading and growing flowers and plants. Ms. Hogan loved her dogs and 
her family, especially all children. Children would flock to her and she enjoyed 
them. Sharon was baptized at an early age at the Kirvin Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother & step-father, Wanda & Glenn Hall of Teague; one 
son, Kevin McLain & wife Devyn of San Antonio; one daughter, Ashley Haston & 
husband Clint of Ft. Worth; three grandchildren, Johnathan McLain, Brooklynn 
Welch, and Caiden Haston; the father of her children, Dennis McLain of Kirvin; 
one brother, David M. Hogan of Kirvin; three sisters, Leann McDaniel & husband 
Jamie of Kirvin, Lauren Rodriguez & husband David of Buffalo, and Morgan Smith & 
husband Jordan of San Antonio; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and 
friends.

Ms. Hogan was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Hogan.
