Holland Buried Here Monday Funeral services for Mr. William Vinson Holland, life-long resident of Buffalo, were held Monday, November 19, 1958, at the First Baptist Church in Buffalo with Dr. James Bradford of Dublin officiating, assisted by Rev. A. M. Funderburk of Buffalo and Rev. Dunfon of Dallas. Interment was in Buffalo Cemetery. Mr. Holland was born July 19, 1873 in Freestone County and passed away Saturday, November 15, 1958, in Dallas. He joined the Baptist Church at an early age and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Buffalo almost 50 years. His wife, the late Mary Lee Bradford of Buffalo, preceded him in death 35 years ago. He was well-known and respected throughout the are. The Press joins his many friends in extending sympathy to his loved ones. Survivors include three sons: H. W. Holland and W. V. Holland, Jr. of Dallas, and Leslie Holland of Freestone; 4 daughters, Mrs. J. A. Scott and Mrs. W. F. Ezell, of Buffalo; Mrs. W. D. Dodd of Labodie, Mo., and Mrs. W. J. Lane of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Clara Lowrance of Dallas; three half-sisters, Mrs. Jim Graham and Mrs. Olen Hundley of Houston and Mrs. Buelah Wilcox of Hardin; seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Ham Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
