Helen Holmes Graveside Services Held on January 17 

Helen Holmes, 92, of Teague passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Parkview
Regional Hospital in Mexia. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, January 17
at Sardis Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Beggs officiating. 

Helen was born June 22, 1913 to William Eugene Fenton and Pauline Tatum Fenton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Holmes; son, Paul David
Holmes and a daughter, Judy Thomas. 

She is survived by a son, Jim Holmes and wife Gloria of Groesbeck;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Burleson of Dew;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Pritchard of Fairfield;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Holmes of Houston;
son-in-law, Sam Thomas of Teague; grandchildren: Billy Holmes of Groesbeck,
Mark Holmes of Donie, Jean Holmes of Groesbeck, Chad Thomas of Teague, Sandra
Lynn Holmes of Hamilton and David Holmes of Ft. Worth; numerous nieces and
nephews. 

Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home of Teague was in charge of arrangements.
