Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Denton Ray Honeycutt Denton Ray Honeycutt, 45, of Houston passed away Friday, April 6, 2001 at a Houston hospital. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Honeycutt was born April 14, 1955 in Hillsboro. He attended public schools in St. Charles, Mo. and had been a resident of Houston the past six months. The former Farmington, Mo. resident worked as a carpenter and was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Honeycutt was preceded in death by his father, Allen Ben Honeycutt and his grandfather, Charles Denton Honeycutt. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Honeycutt of Houston; his mother, Mrs. Ann Lynn of St. Charles, Mo.; sons Jason Ray Honeycutt and Allen Ben Honeycutt, both of Houston; daughters, Samantha Christine Thrasher and Allona Louise Honeycutt, both of Houston; brothers, Dwight Honeycutt of Cincinnati, Timothy Reed of Tulsa and Gregory Ford of St. Louis, Mo.; sister Darla Duff of Boise, Idaho; and one granddaughter.
