Lula Mae Horton

Funeral services were held last week for Lula Mae Horton, 100, of Fairfield who 
died Tuesday, May 12.

Mrs. Horton was born in Freestone County on Feb. 17, 1908.

Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at Capps Memorial 
Chapel with Tommy Hall and Revs. Horton and Terry Skinner officiating.

Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Barry and Charlie Allbright, Michael and Jack 
Stubbs, Shawn Eyre and Paul Knight.

Mrs. Horton is survived by her children Charlene Allbright and husband James of 
Houston, Allene Stubbs and husband Carol of Houston, and Henry Horton and wife 
Vanette of Fairfield; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great 
great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband W.C. "Dub" Horton, six brothers, 
one sister and grandsons Jamie Allbright and Lee Horton.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel.
