Saralyn (Dossey) Housman

Saralyn (Dossey) Housman, 68, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, February 28, 
2015 at her residence.

Services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2014 at Capps Memorial Chapel 
with Evangelist Don Thornton officiating. Interment followed at Post Oak Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Ryan Weaks, Wayne Beets, Larry Cryer, Tommy Allen, David Graham 
and Tony Vasta.

Mrs. Housman was born December 14, 1946 in Brownwood, Texas to parents Weldon and 
Ollie Bruton Dossey. She had been a Fairfield resident since 1981 and was a 
retired trainer with the Mexia State School. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. 
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank 
Housman on November 8, 2012.

Left to cherish her memory is her three children, Weldon Weaks and wife Dianna 
of Fairfield; Joyce Vasta and husband Tony of Moffat, TX; Sharon Brown and 
husband Eddie of Humansville, MO; three step-children, John Housman of Grapeland, 
TX; Diane Schultz and husband Richard of Temple, TX; Kristye Hinds and husband 
Jeff of Belton, TX; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren along 
with numerous nieces and nephews.
