Billie D. Hughes

Billie D. Hughes, 81, of Kirvin passed away Monday, May 27, 2002 at Parkview 
Regional Hospital in Mexia.

Services were 3 p.m. May 29 at First Baptist Church in Kirvin with the Rev. Tom 
Young and the Rev. Louis Jones officiating. 

Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Will McCrary, Warren Carter, David Hogan, Larry Johnson, Bobby 
Hughes, Jack Lawrence Hughes.

Mr. Hughes was born Jan. 6, 1921 in Corsicana. 

He had been a truck driver.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Williams of Teague; sons, Billy Wayne 
Hughes and wife Nancy of Lasalle, Tommy Ray "Bubba" Williams and wife Susanna of 
Emhouse, and Glenn Hughes of Denton; brothers, Harris Glynn Hughes of Kirvin and 
Jack Talmage Hughes of Kirvin; sister, Johnnie Rae Johnson of Teague; and 10 
grandchildren.
