Lloyd Buster Hurst
(February 19, 1929 - August 30, 2012)


Lloyd Buster Hurst of Groesbeck passed away at Groesbeck LTC on Thursday, August 
30, 2012, at age 83.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the 
Groesbeck Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the 
Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cotton Gin Cemetery 
near Teague.

Pallbearers will be Everett Hurst, Jr., Jerry Staggs, William Staggs, Rocky Foley, 
Douglas Hurst, Jr., and Dustin Sanoja.

Mr. Hurst was born February 19, 1929 to Lester Carr Hurst and Eula Estelle 
(McClain) Hurst in Lawton, Oklahoma.

He owned and operated one of the largest roofing companies in Houston for 
approximately fourteen years.

Mr. Hurst is survived by his wife Nadine Adra (Hensley) Hurst; son, Everett Hurst, 
Sr., of Teague; daughter, Sissy Foley of Donie; son, Douglas Hurst of Teague; 
daughter, Rhonda Johnson of Groesbeck; son, Curtiss Hurst of Teague; daughter, 
Anna Pruett of Teague; and son, Charlie Hurst of Groesbeck; twenty-one 
grandchildren: Russell Varner of Murphysbobo, TN, Jae Varner of Groesbeck, 
Everett Hurst, Jr. of Teague, Marie Hurst of Teague, Jerry Staggs of Donie, 
William Staggs of Donie, Rocky Foley of Donie, Cassie Egbert of Donie, Pam Hurst 
of Teague, Douglas Hurst, Jr. of Teague, Rachel Handsome of Teague, Hunter 
Handsome of Teague, Noah Handsome of Teague, Dustin Sanoja of Groesbeck, Abbey 
Hurst of Teague, Tyler Hurst of Teague, Ethan Bodnar of Teague, Evan Bodnar of 
Teague, Peyton Pruett of Teague, Braycen Briscoe of Groesbeck, and Bryleigh 
Briscoe of Groesbeck; twenty-one great grandchildren: Heather Ling of Bremond, 
Jennifer Halford of Groesbeck, Elisa Halford of Groesbeck, Amber Halford of Kosse, 
Chasitie Hurst of Willingston, ND, Dillon McAdams of Teague, Hunter Hurst of

Maddylin Hurst of Donie, Stetson Staggs of Groesbeck, Cade Staggs of Teague,
