J. D. Hurst, Resident of Wortham, is Dead
  WORTHAM, Texas, July 20 - J. D. Hurst, 68, resident of Wortham for more than
forty years died in a hospital at Wichita Falls.  Funeral services were held 
Saturday at the First Baptist Church here, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Mr.
Rodgers. Services at the Wortham Cemetery were in charge of the Masons.
  Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Will Land, and a granddaughter, Miss
Margaret Land of Clifton; one brother, Mont Hurst of Dallas.  Mr. Hurst was a
member of the Baptist Church, was a thirty-second degree Mason and a Shriner.
