Viola (Huckaby) Ivy

FAIRFIELD - Viola Ivy, 85, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at Palestine Regional 
Hospital. Graveside services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday in Levelland City Cemetery
with Dr. Steve Vernon officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of 
Early.

Mrs. Ivy was born in Freestone County to William Hull and Annie Henry Huckaby. 
She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Smyer. She
married Freddy B. Ivy in Freestone County. He preceded her in death. She 
lived in Fairfield for the past 20 years.

Survivors include her son, J.P. Ivy of Fairfield; two daughters, Joy Wilson 
of Levelland and Katherine Thomas of Brownwood; a sister, Laura Lee Carroll 
of Fairfield; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-
grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
